De rest van de middag was ik niet zo happy 😢 Gelukkig waren mijn baasjes thuis en hebben ze mij heerlijk geknuffeld. Stiekem waren m`n baasjes ook een beetje zenuwachtig en vonden ze dit maar niks. Me Made May Day 5: The dogs decided to photobomb today. The first dog is Blue Ribbon our Dalmatian-lab mix or dalmador. The second dog with the coonhound markings is Pepper. She is a spicy Australian shepherd x coonhound mix. Both are rescues that bring us immense joy (and some trials too).
This is the Zadie jumpsuit that nearly everyone has sewn. Wearing it today reminds me why I both love and hate it. Genius cut. Looks good on almost everybody. And it’s terrible to get in and out of when you need to use the restroom. It doesn’t get worn much for this very reason. Plus I’ve gained a little weight since I sewed it and it fits a little more snuggly than I’d like. I’m always in for the secret pajamas, and these have that comfy fit in the correct size.

Our very own Piper is a Lab / Dalmatian Mix. We call her a Dalabrador. There are several different variations out there with the spelling: Dalmador, D’labrador, Dalab, etc. She is the perfect dog and best sister to Penny, our pure bred dalmatian. She is the perfect playful companion, while also quite content with hanging out with family. She loves every single dog that she meets and is always the quickest to make new friends. And, most of all, she is gentle and loving towards adults and children alike.
Health and Training Needs
There are a few health and training needs to keep in mind when considering a Dalmatian crossbreed. They are prone to deafness, so be sure to get their hearing checked regularly. They also need a lot of exercise, so make sure you have the time and energy to give them plenty of walks or runs. And lastly, they are bred from two very different types of dogs, so be prepared for some behavioral quirks that may come up. But with all that said, they truly are the perfect blend of charming and goofy!
